Things are Really Looking Up!

OK...I'm going to start trying to write these blogs in the evening instead of morning....mornings are just too full of excitement and I'm always afraid I might miss something!

Gina had another great day (as usual)! She got to play Connect 4 with her recreational therapist and gave her a sound beating! She was very sneaky and was definitely planning her strategy ahead of time. Her communication continues to improve every time we talk with her.

She gave me a kiss today and is feeling very emotional much of the time. (That's more good news because it's evidence of Gina continuing to climb that mountain)! There is no therapy on Sunday...she gets a day of rest....but I'm sure I'll still have more exciting news tomorrow!

Hugs,
Mimi

wonderful news!
Gina's climbing the mountain to snow board down the other side.

Take a momment at the top to look around, the view will be amazing.

Keep it up Gina, we hold you in our hearts.

Wow, I missed a couple days and look how she has improved! God is good!

Prayers are working and many more are coming your way. Keep the faith.

She is aware of the love her family is giving her and I am sure that is bringing her more strength than anything. She is blessed to have loving, caring parents.

Love you Gina, I'm so glad your getting plenty of rest today. Get ready for tomorrow though as it will be a busy day. You are doing so well, and just wait til you can really challenge your mom and dad in a game of connect four. Grandma Roz

It's good to hear of the progress Gina is making. I try to think of this happening to my own daughter and I can't imagine the emotional rollercoaster you must both be on. You are all in our prayers.

Great News over the last few days!! Paul, Mimi, and Gini - I'm sure you must all be excited. Having the pictures and yes/no signs surely helps in the ongoing communications.

Mimi - your strength and spirit continues to shine. Thinking about you every day. Cheryl

Thanks guys, and yes JD, i do try to stay out of the dog house, but that never lasts long.

Gina's progress is great...she does something new to amaze us all each day. the staff here at Children's are incredible and the care is top quality.

We will keep up the messages each day, Gina progresses faster than we can post the blogs. so when we send something out, there she goes and does something amazing again.

ID Staff, thanks and I'll se you Thursday.

I love that you guys started a blog to let us know how Gina is doing every day. Every time I go to look at it I can't wait to see how she's doing. I'm really glad that she's doing so well and is improving each day! I can't wait to see her when she gets better. She's in my thoughts every day. Get well soon Gina!!!

I just want to know who "uglybutt" is! There are just so MANY on the ski school & patrol that it would be hard to pick out which "one" it was!

Keep it up, Gina! Hey, is your Mom smelling any better these days? (thumbs up for "yes," thumbs down for a definite "no!")
