Movie Day!

Well, as predicted, today was a nice lazy day spent watching movies, napping, and listening to Mark Twain. Gina did get into her chair a couple of times for some short tours around her floor. She's not feeling as dizzy today, but says she still feels a little dizzy. Tomorrow will be a full day again filled with therapies and improvements (I'm sure!).....I'll keep everyone posted! Gina may get her trach out tomorrow or Tuesday!

Hugs,
Mimi

Gina,

We've never met, but I'm friends with your mom on the ski patrol. I'm so sorry I haven't visited your site lately. I've been working on getting my PSIA certification for telemark skiing, so I can teach your mom how to free her heal!

I just spent the last hour getting updated on your progress for the past few weeks and reading all the loving comments left by your friends and family. I also learned that we have the same birthday!!! When I ready your birthday was the same as mine, I had to hold back som tears at work. I MUST meet you when you are feeling better.

Isn't the 13th a great birthday?! 13 has always been a luck number for me. I remember always picking 13 in school and everyone thinking how weird I was for what they thought was an unluck number. What I really enjoy is having a birthday that falls on a Friday. When I was younger, I would look at the calendar years in advance to see if I had a birthday coming up that falled on a Friday. I think our last 2/13 birthday that fell on a Friday was in 2004. Hey, I just looked at the calendar and saw we got one coming up next year!

I bet you got some great gifts and presents last Wednesday. I'm sure you'll have many more when you feel well enough to have a party. My parent got me frozen king crab legs from Sam's club (long story...I'm a crab addict!) and my wife paid for some new telemark boots I bought a few weekends ago.

I know you are improving everyday, and I'd ask they you keep up the great work. It bring alot of happiness to your mom, dad and all those who love you. Perhaps when you are ready to receive visitors, I could stop by and introduce myself. I've never met anyone else who was born on 2/13, and I would love to meet you some day soon.

All the best,

Tom T.

Dear Gina,
We are sorry we could not visit you today. Papa had a 24 hr. "bug" and we didn't want you to get it. So, we spent time going through our VHS tapes for those you might like to watch, as well as some books when you feel like reading. Papa will try to be down to see you tomorrow IF he stops sneezing!
Hope you had a good day today...did you work hard, determined girl? We bet you did.
Lots of love and xxx's from,

Papa and Nancy
